What You’re All About

It all started when…

I have always been interested in natural health and caring for others since a young age, I did lots of volunteer work and working with young people around substance use, sexual health and mental health issues. I also experienced my own issues with severe migraines and anxiety growing up, which led me to seek alternative therapies, which I found really helpful this began my pursuit to want to study in this area.

In 2006 I completed a one year Holistic Therapies Diploma, and went on to work at Neals Yard remedies as a Senior sales assistant and in store Holistic Practitioner. I continued to work here, and loved working with people, working with herbs and essential oils, and working for such an amazing organic company with a great ethos and values.

I then chose to follow my second passion, which was to complete a degree in Youth and community work, during this time I completed a placement in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in the favelas, and volunteered for the Tsunami Volunteer Centre in Thailand, I got full time work working with young people at young person centred charity, and for a Sexual health charity for several years. I love this work, and assisting young people help identify changes they would like to make. Also I would work a various music festivals in the UK including Glade, Big Green Gathering, & Glastonbury.

In 2012, I left the UK to travel I went to Australia on a one way ticket, and worked in Melbourne for a charity and in Byron Bay, working doing massage at outdoor events and markets. I continued to travel up until now (2019) and have been travelling, working and volunteering along the way as a TEFL teacher, in hospitality, charities and massage therapy. I have visited 51 countries to date, some highlights including travelling around South America, hiking the Himalayas and working on an Organic farm in Japan.

In Canada I was working for a young persons homeless harm reduction shelter, and working at an Organic Restaurant as well as working as a massage therapist. I then went on to work at a Whitewater rafting and yoga resort, as a massage therapist for guests, and teaching yoga.

I feel so grateful that I have have been working and travelling for the past 7 years working my passions which is a combination of charity, youth work, holistic health and massage. I have also completed a 200 hour Yoga teacher training in Indonesia. I love doing yoga, hiking, travelling, meet new people, sharing experiences, learning new things, drinking tea and having good chats.

I am now looking for a place to call home, and build up a base here, I am client focused, friendly, conscious, caring and compassionate, and really enjoy giving massage treatments, and giving people the opportunity to restore and rejuvenate from the daily stresses of life, as well as encouraging them to look after their bodies and have regular treatments.

If you would like to work with me or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you
